Titanium Gr5 (Ti-6Al-4V) is a mainstream titanium alloy, accounting for over 50% of global usage. Its core alloy system of 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium makes it the preferred choice for load-bearing and weather-resistant applications in aerospace, high-end industrial applications, sports equipment, and other fields, thanks to its balanced performance: high strength, lightweight, and corrosion resistance. It addresses the inherent strength limitations of pure titanium (its tensile strength is 2.5 times that of Gr2), while also being 40% lighter than steel and three times stronger than aluminum alloys. This bridges the gap between high performance requirements and lightweight goals, earning it the nickname "the universal material" among titanium alloys.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between Titanium Gr5 and Grade 2 titanium?
A: Grade 5 offers approximately twice the strength of Grade 2 while maintaining good corrosion resistance. Grade 2 is more formable but lower strength.
Q: Can Grade 5 titanium be welded?
A: Yes, it can be welded using appropriate techniques, though post-weld heat treatment may be required for critical applications.
Q: What is your minimum order quantity?
A: We accommodate orders from prototype quantities to full production volumes.
Q: Do you provide material certifications?
A: Yes, we provide full certification packages including MTC 3.2 and test reports.
Q: What lead time can I expect?
A: Standard items ship in 15-20days, custom-processed items in 10-15 working days.
