Types of Nickel Alloys
Nickel 601
Nickel Alloy 601 (UNS N06601), a nickel-chromium alloy fortified with aluminum for exceptional high-temperature performance. This alloy demonstrates outstanding resistance to oxidation, carburization, and sulfidation, maintaining excellent mechanical properties in temperatures up to 1250°C.
Nickel 400
Our Nickel 400 is supplied in precision-rolled plates, sheets, and drawn bars, meeting and exceeding ASTM B127, B163, and B164 standards. We provide a mill-certified, ready-to-fabricate solution for the most demanding industrial applications.
Inconel 718 Pipe
Inconel 718 pipe (UNS N07718), a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy containing significant amounts of iron, niobium, and molybdenum. The alloy's ability to be welded and aged without significant susceptibility to post-weld cracking makes it particularly suitable for piping systems in demanding aerospace, oil and gas, and chemical processing applications.

Application Industries of Nickel Alloys
Aerospace industry
Nickel alloys are used in the aerospace industry to manufacture Inconel, Hastelloy, turbine engines, and exhaust systems. Since nickel can withstand high temperatures, it is an ideal option for these parts. Moreover, parts made with nickel can withstand extreme heat and stress, making them ideal for the manufacture of jet engines, rocket motors, and other aerospace parts.
Power generation industry
Nickel alloys are significant in nuclear, thermal, and geothermal power generation plants. Since they are temperature-resistant, they are used to produce and manufacture the necessary parts for electricity and power generation plants. These alloys are also resistant to radiation damage and heat.
Electronic industry
Some nickel alloy variants, like Kovar, Invar, and Monel, are perfect for producing different parts used in the electronics industry. These nickel variants are stable and good conductors of electricity. Moreover, these variants can bond with glass and ceramics. Hence, nickel alloy is commonly used in battery electrodes, lead wires, and electrical connectors.
Automation industry
Nickel alloys are used in the automation industry, especially for electric vehicles. These alloys are strong and resistant to wear and tear, making them essential for the critical parts of cars. This helps enhance the vehicle's performance. Moreover, nickel alloys provide reliability and longevity for high-performance environments.
Medical devices and equipment manufacturing
Nickel alloys are used to manufacture surgical instruments, dental implants, and stents. They are vital for the dental industry because they have non-magnetic properties, which make them easier to use in MRIs. Nickel alloy is a medically compatible metal, and hence, it is commonly used in different equipment manufacturing in the healthcare industry.
