Heat treatment process
Stress relief annealing: This is used to eliminate or reduce residual stresses generated during processing. This prevents chemical attack in corrosive environments and reduces deformation.
Full annealing: This is used to achieve good toughness, improve processing properties, facilitate reprocessing, and enhance dimensional and structural stability.
