BAOHUI STEEL supplies Nickel Alloy K500 (UNS N05500, commonly known as Monel K500), a precipitation-hardenable nickel-copper alloy that combines the excellent corrosion resistance of Monel 400 with significantly higher strength and hardness. Through the addition of aluminum and titanium, this alloy can be age-hardened to achieve superior mechanical properties while maintaining good corrosion resistance in various marine and chemical environments.

Heat Treatment Process

 

 

Solution treatment (980-1010°C rapid cooling) → Age hardening (480-620°C holding).

Stress relief annealing (260-540°C) is suitable for welded parts.

Welding: TIG welding is recommended, using ERNiCu-7 wire, with controlled interlayer thickness.
