Our 15-5PH Round Bar is a high-performance, martensitic precipitation-hardening stainless steel known for its exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and toughness. This chromium-nickel-copper alloy maintains its mechanical properties at elevated temperatures (up to 600°F / 316°C) and offers outstanding resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Characteristics
High Strength
After heat treatment, the tensile strength can reach up to 1310 MPa and the yield strength can reach 1170 MPa.
Corrosion Resistance
Excellent corrosion resistance, comparable to other martensitic stainless steels, and stable performance in mild atmospheres, fresh water, and some corrosive chemicals.
Good Toughness
Excellent transverse toughness, providing excellent resistance to shock and vibration.
